Principal: Dr. Sarah Sieminksi

Dr. Sarah Sieminski became the principal at Union Chapel Elementary starting with the 2024-2025 school year. A Park Hill alumna, Dr. Sieminski began her teaching career at Chinn Elementary, teaching kindergarten, third and fourth grades. She served for six years as a Park Hill elementary assistant principal at Line Creek Elementary and Southeast Elementary. She was named Outstanding Assistant Principal by the Clay-Platte Region of the Missouri Association of Elementary School Principals in 2023.

Dr. Sieminski and her husband have two children. She loves to get outside, travel, bake, read, play games and spend time with her family. At the heart of her ambition, she wants to cultivate a community that is positive, focused on equity, proactive, collaborative and eager to continuously improve together. Her drive to develop communities of belonging that support long-term student success inspire her to continue learning and growing as a leader and educator.


Assistant Principal: Marquis Hall

Marquis Hall became the assistant principal at Union Chapel Elementary in the 2023-2024 school year.

In 2016, Marquis earned his bachelor's degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. While there he was a part of the school of education’s Institute for Urban Education. He later received his master's degree in educational leadership with an emphasis in PK-8 administration from the University of Missouri-Kansas City. His work experience includes being a first and second grader teacher as well as a fourth grade teacher in his later years of classroom teaching. Prior to coming to Park Hill, Mr. Hall served in a district office position as the manager of student diversity and inclusion programs for Kansas City Public Schools where he oversaw the district’s student mentoring program, collaborated with district partners, and implemented student diversity initiatives. 

Mr. Hall has a passion for educating students and wants all students to have a greater sense of belonging in schools. He works tirelessly to learn about each student individually and connect with them. He believes that schools are the places that really help students gain curiosity about the world, learn about one another, and help students imagine and achieve endless possibilities.
 

Assistant Principal: Kristen Mitchell

Mrs. Kristen Mitchell became the assistant principal at Hawthorn Elementary and Union Chapel Elementary starting with the 2024-2025 school year. As a military spouse, Mrs. Mitchell has lived and taught all over the United States and abroad. She joined the Park Hill family in 2019 as a first grade teacher at Hopewell Elementary. Mrs. Mitchell was a Park Hill School District Star Award recipient in 2021. She was also a Northland Chamber of Commerce Excellence in Classroom Teaching nominee in 2022.
 
Mrs. Mitchell earned her bachelor’s degree in elementary education from Florida State University, her master’s degree in guidance and counseling from Bowie State University, and her educational specialist from Northwest Missouri State University.

Mrs. Mitchell and her husband, Rob, have three boys. Liam, Jack, and Ryan are all current students or alumni of the Park Hill School District. They enjoy traveling, playing games, and taking their dogs for walks.
